Community By Design walkthrough

We are excited to share the results of our Community by Design Walkthrough Report, a collaboration between WyCo-SAP, MOSCA, and Downtown Shareholders (DTS). This initiative uses Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) principles to enhance safety and community connection in downtown Kansas City, Kansas. The report highlights key areas for improvement, such as lighting, signage, and maintenance, and proposes innovative solutions to activate unused spaces and foster community engagement. With the help of certified CPTED professionals, we are committed to making downtown KCK a thriving, safe, and connected community.
